Do you enjoy the look of wool?  Do you like hand stitching and or machine applique?  Have you ever tried applique? WOOL applique? It is a dream!  No need to turn edges, needles easily, no hoop required.  Compared to cotton needle turn applique, it is soooo forgiving.  It can be done in less than perfect conditions without perfect light, without perfect stillness (as in, you CAN do it in a moving car, as long as you are not driving). In this club we’ll take a look at a couple of ways to attach your wool applique to the background and we’ll explore a few of the more common stitches and some of their relatives. Sew Much More carries wool and hand embroidery thread. Participants will also learn a variety of hand embroidery stitches.

Serger Club   Wendy   4th Tuesdays   May 28, Jun 25, Jul 23, Aug 27, Sep 24   1pm or 6pm   $5
Sergers are not just for finishing seams. Join Wendy Rieves in exploring the different options a serger can give you. It can be used for quilting, embellishing, heirloom sewing, home dec, garments and more! Wendy always has a hand out and a small project to get you using your serger!
